Winter Element: Earth - Tea & Chocolate Tasting, Yoga Restoration

A winter collaboration by OM Story Yoga, Teakan, and YI SHI Cacao Collective.

An awakening experience to boost your winter energy. Join us for an afternoon retreat rooted in the element of Earth: deep comfort, slow warmth, and everything that feels like home.

We will savour in a crafted tea and chocolate pairing designed to spark nostalgia and melt the winter chill from the inside out. Then we will finish the afternoon wrapped in a cozy, velvety restoration session - the kind that feels like being gently tucked under a plush blanket for the soul.

No movement and tasting experience required - just a curious heart!

Meet Your Hosts:

Evelyn from OM Story Yoga

Evelyn has been devoted to building communities wherever she has lived—from yoga circles in Vancouver to wellness retreats in Southeast Asia. Drawing inspiration from diverse culture and the wisdom of multiple yoga lineages, Evelyn guides students through a mindfully crafted journey of progressive movement, inviting transformation through daily improvement.

Jan from Teakan

Jan is the Global Japanese Tea Association representative for Western Canada, a devoted chado practitioner, and Teakan's Japanese tea specialist. As a graduate of the Japanese Tea Master Course in Kyoto, Jan looks forward to sharing her tea knowledge, travel stories and special teas from her collection with you.

Olivia from YI SHI Cacao Collective

A Level 2 Certified Chocolate Taster with the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting, and has recently completed a Tree-to-bar certificate course, Olivia shares the joy of bean-to-bar chocolate and the stories behind each origin – inviting you to discover the magic of chocolate through a new lens.
